The development of Chinese ink industry can be traced back to the beginning of the 20th century. Since the reform and opening up, the domestic ink market has developed rapidly, and inks have been widely used in various media such as paper, metal, glass, and plastic. In recent years, affected by the further advancement of environmental protection work, the price of some chemical raw materials has risen, and the growth rate of Chinese ink industry has gradually slowed down. In the past three years, the growth rate has been about 3.5%. The profit margin has also shown a downward trend. Oversupply has appeared in some regions. Ink sales have become fiercely competitive. In order to meet the needs of market competition, energy saving and consumption reduction and product quality improvement will be a major rule for ink manufacturers to enhance their corporate competitiveness.
However, the research process is a key process in the ink production process, which has a key impact on both yield and quality. During this process, the grinding medium is converted into heat energy under the condition of violent movement, and a large amount of heat is generated. If the heat generated is not taken away in an effective way, as the temperature rises, the material to be ground will agglomerate, and the quality of the finished particles will decrease, thereby reducing the output and quality. Through practical test comparison, it can be found that under the same other conditions, the efficiency of the grinder using 15°C chilled water is more than 30% higher than that of using 22°C circulating water. Therefore, the construction of the cooling system of the ink factory is effective for the company. Yield and quality play a key role.
How can we make the chiller cooling system more energy efficient? This mainly involves two aspects: first, the design of the cooling system; second, the operation and maintenance management of the cooling system, and then H.Stars Group will mainly introduce the design of the chiller cooling system as below.
The design of the cooling system involves many factors, such as the geographic location of the ink plant, the annual climate conditions, and the negative changes in the production capacity. Each factor will restrict the result of the cooling system construction. However, the main methods are as follows.
First of all, consider the location of the ink plant and the year-round climate conditions to find out whether there are available resource conditions, such as groundwater below 15°C for a long time. If there is groundwater below 15°C for a long time and mining is allowed, then directly use. Otherwise, if there is a condition where the temperature in winter is lower than 5°C, use a chiller with a winter economizer.
Secondly, understand the changes in capacity and load, and choose IPLV energy-efficient inverter chillers.
Then, according to local conditions, choose different types of high-efficiency chillers, such as evaporative cooling spray chillers.
For example, a factory is now preparing to add two production lines, their Y line contains 28 sand mills (12 sets reserved), and the Z line contains 17 sand mills (4 sets reserved). A sand mill requires an inlet water temperature of 10-15°C, an outlet water temperature of 22°C, and a water flow rate of 3.6m³/h.
After collecting relevant data and analyzing, finally H.Stars Group provided customers with two types of equipment, one is a 40STD-P800ZS4 inverter evaporative spray type (falling film) chiller with a winter Economizer, and the other is an evaporative spray type chiller 40STD-P460ZS4 with a winter Economizer.
After the above configuration, the annual cost savings amounted to more than 230,000. The specific benefits are as follows:
